Project type: Advocacy
Duration: April to November 2016
Project description:
The SAID project aimed to support advocacy for immunization by optimizing the use of the significance of vaccines data and messaging while working closely with established country advocates. In addition, synthesizing the evidence base in immunization and disseminate it to provide advocates with new tools and knowledge to communicate valuable information on vaccines.
These efforts were to help determine the data needs of global and national advocates, which in turn, will inform the final edits to a compendium of evidence developed by the SAID team. The SAID compendium synthesized available evidence on health, economic and social value of vaccines into an online resource for immunization advocates to provide advocates with new tools and knowledge to communicate the value of vaccines.
