Accountability Framework for Routine Immunization in Nigeria (AFRIN)

The Accountability For Routine Immunization In Nigeria (AFRIN) project is a pilot intervention study implemented Niger State which aims to identify effective ways to improve external accountability in routine immunization service delivery at health facilities using community structures.

The GAVI funded project which was implemented in 2 phases; formative and implementation, was conducted between 2015 and 2016.  Lessons from this implementation research are to provide evidence for the National and state Primary Health Care development agencies on how to improve their accountability structures in RI and PHC. DCL Consultants provide research and implementation support to IVAC and to design and execute the project.
