Project description:
The objective was to demonstrate the application and impact of an accountability intervention on routine immunization service delivery at the sub-national level in Nigeria. Ward Development Committees were trained and provided tools to track routine immunization service delivery in their communities. Our staff and consultants worked with the Johns Hopkins University ‘s International Vaccine Access Center (IVAC) to develop an intervention to improve service delivery at the facility level by engaging community structures to strengthen external accountability and community ownership.
